PROGRESSIONS
Task 4:
Testing the end product and iterative designs
For this task, me and Hoi Yee will focused on finishing, refining the pitch video, while waiting for the final app done, as we needed to import the screenrecord in the motion graphic part, we start to animate a bit of transitions and text animation first.

After receiving the screenrecords from the app team, we started to animate the scenes accordingly, and adjust the timing whenever necessary (depends on the length of the screenrecord). I tried different layouts variations, and implemented the brand identity, including the colors, graphical elements and illustrations that have been used in the app.

Utilizing a particle system to do the voucher keeps 'raining' in the background. Adjust the settings in the effects control panel, to make it 'rains' slower, and distance further.
I use Adobe Audition to edit the voiceover, including the pitch, the equalizer, denoise, and speed. After editing the individual tracks for each scene, I combined them in a multitrack mixdown, and try to match all the tracks.
fig: sync the voiceover with the video
After done all the editings for the voiceovers, I imported the video track (motion graphic) into the multitrack to do audio sync manually.

FEEDBACKS
the presentation is better than last week, the app is very clear
the video, more on homeowner perspective, how about contractor's perspective, as the video mentioned and focused more on the homeowner's issue, can think about the contractors' too.
REFLECTIONS
Experience
Throughout these weeks working on the final pitch video, the process has been quite progressive, especially with the deadlines so near. Everything had to move very quickly. The videography is technically done; we're just waiting for the final product to incorporate motion graphics, timing, text animation, sound effects, voiceovers, and so on. Despite the tight timeline, I still enjoyed the process. I love doing video editing, VFX, SFX, audio editing, and motion graphics. I feel blessed and fortunate to try out all these aspects, as it was so much fun. I also learned a lot and practiced more of my After Effects and Premiere Pro skills.
Observations
My groupmates and I constantly gave each other feedback, discussed together, and communicated regularly to prevent miscommunication and keep everyone updated. Implementing the brand identity, social media graphical elements, and colors was another enjoyable part. Even though I’m not a graphic design student, and layout and composition are not my forte, I had a lot of fun trying out these elements.
Findings
Overall, I enjoyed the process and realized I still have a lot more improvements to make. I can’t wait to learn more and try out different things. I also found that more time in this module, and all other modules, would allow me to put more effort into diving deeper into all these design and technical aspects.
